As one of the most beautiful sites on the Island, the Lage waterfall contains some crystal-clear water pools and a slide that is about 30 m long. The waterfall is located on the south of the Island, along the trail that links Sepituba point to Bonete beach. From the place where one has to park the car, it is roughly a 40 minute walk through the forest to reach the falls.

You can't miss it, the rough-hewn trail crosses the Lage brook. After crossing the river, there is a small trail going off to the right, which leads you to the main cascade and the big slide.

A sequence of wells go downl the side of the mountain, to the point where the river finally flows into the sea. In the opposite direction, going up the hillside, there are several wells and waterfalls that are also worth exploring.
