The beautiful and exclusive Feiticeira beach, with 250 m of coarse sand on a sloping surface, is the source of one of Ilhabela's oldest legends, besides housing the residence of the former São Mathias farm. Its colonial style mansion, stands out at the left end of the beach.

This is where the public enters to get to the beach, and to do so they pass by a man-made waterfall - built by the farm's former owners - that flows right into the beach. At the beach's other end there is a luxurious condominium and the lack of bars or any kind of commercial establishments contributes to the place's tranquillity.
