Besides its natural beauty, the main attraction of this beach is the Sino Stone. Located on a trail that starts out at the beach's right end, this stone emits a metallic sound when one strikes it hard. This feature gave birth to one of the Island's most beautiful legends and also gave the beach its name, which literally means "the stone that plays" in the language of the Indians that lived here. A long row of tall coconut trees separates the stretch of white sand from the road that runs past, just behind it.
