Gato beach is small, with about 200 m of coarse sand and huge
stones that form a real maze. When the tide is high and there is an undertow, it is
impossible to walk along the beach because the breakers crash violently through the
stones. However, on days when there is a calm sea, it is very interesting to enjoy this
uncommon geography, which due to its dangers and treacherous character gives you the idea
that you are on some mythical beach from Homer's Greece as described in the Odyssey. |
