Itaguaçu beach rewards those tourists going northward with a beautiful landscape, shortly after they arrive in Ilhabela. The road that leads towards the village, starting at the ferryboat landing point, goes over the hill that separates Perequê from Itaguaçú Beach, affording a view worthy of a post-card.

The beach is approximately 600 m long, and is surrounded by beautiful summer vacation houses and the Ilhabela Marine Port.
