Oscar beach is a sandy strip of about 50 m, that has a huge stone right in the middle, next to the road that leads to the south of the Island. Its charm is that it is the only place with sand along the long rocky shore that connects Cabras Island to Portinho.

It is a perfect location for those who enjoy swimming, because close-by, just 400 m away, is Portinho with its crystal clear calm waters. Another good activity on Oscar beach is fishing. A lot of fishermen cast their lines from the large stone that lies in the middle of the beach. The stretch of road where Oscar beach is found is used a great deal for jogging. It is very easy to go off-road and take a quick plunge in the water here, and this makes it a favourite beach with the Island's local inhabitants.
