For those coming to the island by ferryboat, Saco da Capela is the last beach before Ilhabela village. Sprinkled with sailing vessels and boats that are anchored at the Pindá Yacht Clube, this beach offers charming scenery that conjures up in a single instant, adventures on the island's waters and the enjoyable laziness of simply lying down on its sandy beaches.

The beach in front of the Itapemar Hotel is one of the best points on Saco da Capela for a swim in the sea. At weekends it is possible to enjoy the sun whilst watching the movement of the vessels coming and going from the Pindá Yacht Clube.
