Saco do Eustáquio is a mandatory refuge for
those who are going by boat to the east side of the Island, and the crystal-clear waters to be
found here are among Ilhabela's calmest. There are two bars offering huge bowls of fresh
seafood, recently caught, at very reasonable prices. It is an irrecusable invitation to
eat heartily and lay back taking life easy.
The white sandy beach is only 150 m
long, and is well hidden at the back of a small bay. The spot is sheltered from the open
sea by Cabeçuda point, which separates Saco do Eustáquio from Castelhanos bay, and by
Búzios island, just opposite. |
