This track leads to one of the highest points of all Ilhabela: Baepi Peak, which is 1.050 meter high. It takes around a two hour walk plus one hour crawling up a steep slope dotted with rocks, roots and trees. It's a great effort, but highly rewarding. The view of the canal is simply breathtaking.

The track to Baepi Peak should only be ventured with the help of a local guide who knows the region well. It is also not recommended for those who are not in good physical shape, or who are prone to having pain on their knees or ankles.
