The Toca waterfall is the most famous one on Ilhabela. It has a cascade about 3 m high and a big slide _ the largest on the Island _ about 50 m long.

The site used to be an old sugar mill, producing one of the best brands of aguardente (a type of sugar cane brandy) to be found in the region. The current owner of the farm exploits the waterfall as a tourist attraction, charging a small fee to visit it. At the mill, it is possible to take a close look at the still that used to produce the aguardente.

The passage to the Toca waterfall is right at the beginning of the Castelhanos road. It is impossible to get lost: there are many signs indicating the way, and everybody in the area can point the way to the waterfall.
